Yamaha CLP-S408 Features

The sound of the Yamaha CLP-S408 reproduces a concert grand piano experience. The CFX is a flagship concert grand piano which was carefully tuned to perfection by a veteran piano tuner and then painstakingly recorded to capture every nuance and richness possible.

The CLP-S408 features a graded hammer action. Grand pianos have the graded hammer action feature. There is more resistance in the bass than the treble.

The USB audio recorder allows you to record your masterpieces straight to your USB storage device. You get the high quality format of .WAV files.

When adjusting the volume of your Yamaha CLP-S408, the tone is automatically adjusted. When the volume is turned down to a low level, the bass is automatically boosted so you can still hear the quality of the bass. When turning up the volume, the bass volume is reduced so you don't get the overwhelming booming of the bass.

There are 28 different sounds to choose from. The finish of the piano comes in an ebony polish.

You get AMW four level sampling. When striking the keys with more power, you'll get the extra loudness ambience you hear when hitting keys with extra force on a grand piano.

The key tops are a synthetic ivory with a slight porous texture that provides extra grip and control. Under the keytops you get the natural wood keys.
