The Modern School of Music is unique among music schools, in that we are the only school that can provide you with what can only be described as a hard-, blusey, punk-y, country-fried, chicken-pickin', Jazzy, soulful, and ultra educational experience!

The Modern School of Music excels at teaching all of the above styles and more. Whether in private lessons or in group “rock band” settings, we can hook you up with the instruction that you need to take your playing to the next level.

We teach Folk, Punk, Country, Hard Rock, Jazz, Soul, R&B… pretty much any style of music you can think of! Our goal is to help you be the guitarist (or bassist or drummer or keyboard player) you’ve always dreamed you could be!

• Private lessons are taught by certified, enthusiastic teachers, starting as cheap as $60 per month!
• We also offer "Rookie Rock™" group classes that are teacher-guided student bands! Each level of the Rookie Rock™ classes increases the difficulty of the songs, so that you start off as a Rookie, and end up like a pro.
• Each level of Rookie Rock™ lasts 14 weeks, and has a concert at the end (so you can show off and strut your stuff to your adoring fans and family!)
