My name is Dave Crosby, I am a singer/songwriter and Guitar teacher in Provo, Utah.

I got my first guitar when I was eight years old and fell in love with it. When I was twelve years old I started taking it seriously and signed on for guitar lessons with Benjamin Carter, an incredible singer/songwriter in Sandy, Utah.

After a few great years, Benjamin decided to stop teaching to pursue other events in his life such as family and a music career. At this point I signed on for lessons with the very respected guitar teacher Scott Graves in Salt Lake.

Scott has accomplished amazing things in the guitar world graduating from top music universities and developing his own system of teaching. After two years of lessons with Scott I was hired on as one of five teachers at On Track Music when I was seventeen years old.

I taught for Scott for two and a half years, gaining huge amounts of experience being tutored by Scott and having great success with students.

I then served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Atlanta Georgia. upon returning in May, 2008, I got right back into teaching.

Now a student at BYU, I am teaching here at The Modern School of Music.
