Yamaha P-155
Great Deals on the Yamaha P-155 from Piano Gallery
The Yamaha P-155 has a graded hammer action keyboard. The keys feel like you are playing a grand piano. The subtle resistance in the keys resemble the hammers moving in the piano for a realistic feel and more control.
The quality tones of the Yamaha P-155 produce a full spectrum of sound. The sound you hear is the CFlllS 9 foot concert grand piano from Yamaha. This concert grand was finely tuned to perfection until it was ready to be recorded to capture every detail in sound. This sound was then implemented into the P-155 digital piano to reproduce that same concert grand sound the the DSS stereo speakers.
DSS stands for "Dynamic Stereo Sampling". The Yamaha P-155 has four levels of DSS. This means depending on how hard you strike the key, you'll hear one of four recordings. If you strike the key with a lot of force, you'll hear the 9 foot concert grand recording when the key was struck at that forcefull velocity. The tones and nuances change depending on how hard the keys are played.
The Yamaha P-155 is great for performance because of the connectivity. The P-155 has 1/4" in and out jacks as well as MIDI and USB. Two headphone jacks allow two people to be playing the piano with their headphones on.
Some more P-155 features include 4 kinds of reverb, 4 effects, 3 types of brilliance, 88 hammer action keys, 17 high quality sounds, metronome, tuning and transpose adjustments, 2 track recording and more.
